Terms of Sale and License Agreement
Last updated October 15, 2026
These terms are between you and Drabs Ltd, a Colorado limited liability company, which publishes Teaching Pace. Buying Teaching Pace, or using it, means you accept them. They are written plainly on purpose — please read them before you buy.
What you are buying
A personal, non-exclusive license to use Teaching Pace for your own household's homeschooling. One purchase covers one computer at a time. You may move Teaching Pace to a different or new computer using the transfers included with your license; the number of transfers is limited, and if you run out you can write to us and we will free one up. You are buying the right to use the software; you are not buying the software itself, and ownership stays with Drabs Ltd.
You may not:
- Share, resell, sublicense, or give away your license key or access.
- Use one license across multiple households, a co-op, a school, or a business.
- Copy, modify, or redistribute the software.
If you need to cover a co-op or several families, please get in touch and we will sort out something appropriate.
Sold as-is
Teaching Pace is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE", without warranty of any kind, express or implied. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, including any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, and non-infringement.
We do not warrant that the software will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that it will meet your requirements, and we do not promise ongoing updates, new features, or continued availability.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, lost plans, lost time, or lost records, arising out of or relating to your use of Teaching Pace — even if we have been advised that such damages are possible.
Our total liability for any claim relating to Teaching Pace will not exceed the amount you actually paid for it.
Some states do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties or the limitation of certain damages, so parts of the above may not apply to you. In that case, our liability is limited to the smallest amount the law allows.
What you need to run it
Teaching Pace is intended for use on a Windows PC or a Mac, in Chrome or Edge. Those browsers allow it to save your plan to a folder you choose. It is not a phone or tablet app, and Safari is not supported. Safari, and every browser on an iPhone or iPad, erases a website's saved data if the site is not opened for 7 days, which would include your plan, its backups and your license. Other browsers keep the plan in the browser's own storage, where it is erased if you clear your browsing data. Choosing a device and browser that suit you is your responsibility, and using Teaching Pace on an unsupported device or browser is at your own risk.
Your plan and your backups
Teaching Pace runs entirely on your own computer. Your plan is stored in your browser or in a file you choose. We never receive it, never store it, and cannot see it — which also means we cannot recover it for you if it is lost.
Keeping backups is your responsibility. The app keeps recent automatic copies and has an export button; please use it. We are not responsible for lost or corrupted plans, for any reason.
Not a compliance or record-keeping tool
Teaching Pace is a planning tool. It is not legal advice, not an attendance system, and not a record of instruction. Homeschooling requirements differ from state to state and country to country, and can change.
You are solely responsible for meeting whatever requirements apply to you. If your state, district, or umbrella school asks for instructional day counts, attendance records, or reporting in a particular form, check what Teaching Pace produces against those requirements yourself before relying on it. We accept no responsibility for any consequence of relying on this software for compliance.
No affiliation
Teaching Pace is independent. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to any curriculum publisher, homeschool organization, co-op, school, or government body. Any curriculum or publisher names you type into the app are your own words in your own file.
Payment
Payments are handled by Lemon Squeezy, who act as the merchant of record for the sale. Their terms apply to the transaction itself, and any tax is calculated and remitted by them.
7-day refund. If Teaching Pace is not right for you, write to teachingpace@outlook.com (or reply to your receipt email) within 7 days of your purchase and we will refund you in full, no questions asked. Refunds are issued through Lemon Squeezy to your original payment method. When a purchase is refunded, we may disable the license key for that purchase. After 7 days, write to us if something has genuinely gone wrong and we will do what is fair.
Ending the license
Your license lasts until you stop using the software, or until it is terminated for a breach of these terms — for instance, sharing your key. If it is terminated, you must stop using Teaching Pace. Your plan file is yours and remains readable, since it is plain text on your own computer.
Changes
These terms may be updated for future purchases. The version in force is the one published on the day you bought your license.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Colorado, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any dispute relating to Teaching Pace will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Colorado.
